The Hohner Guitaret by Ernst Zacharias is a rhythm instrument with a guitar or banjo-like sound that was launched in 1963. The sound is reproduced through an amplifier (Hohner Orgaphone) or through a radio set. It did not have great commercial success.

To make a chord to sound, the sound key must be pressed. This is triggered by one hand touching several reeds protruding from the shaft as simultaneously as possible.
