The Dr. Böhm Hobbyton is a small, monophonic pocket organ in the style of the Dubreq Stylophone, but offered as a self-assembly model. It is played with a stylus on 20 keys.
The organ can be tuned with the tuner, switched for 2 octaves and has a built-in amplifier and loudspeaker. The sound generation is the same as for the Dubreq Stylophone. A timer IC (NE 555) generates a square wave whose frequency can be varied within 1.5 octaves by fixed resistors, and an RC generator produces a slow sine wave for a vibrato.
