Teac TD-105 Reel to Reel Tape Recorder

The instrument

The TD-105 was the successor to the TD-102, Teak's first recorder from 1956. Together with the AR9-C and AR9-D preamplifiers, it formed the R-113 or R-114 model. The professional tape recorder had 2 channels, 2 tracks, 4 heads and preamplifiers with recording and playback circuits. The AR9-C is used for the first stereo channel, the AR9-D for the second stereo channel. Playback can be switched between 2-track stereo and double-track monaural. The frequency response is 40 - 15,000 dB.
