The instrument

The Rocktron G.A.P. 1 Guitar Amplifier Processor is a single rackspace system allowing to simulate virtually and processed guitar amplifier sound. It incorporates the AGX system (Automatic Gain Expansion) witch provides noise free performance when using high gain distortion.

Details

Der G.A.P. 1 has the following control functions: 
- The Bass control features a cut or boost of 15dB at low frequencies, the Mid control at mid frequencies, the High control at high frequencies;
- the Frequency control selects a range of frequencies between 500 Hz and 4KHz;
- the Q Switch selects between a broad or narrow frequency curve; 
- Gain 1 and Gain 2 controls offers settings of the pre-amp;
- the Threshold control sets a point where the automatic gain expander can work at the maximum performance;
- the Treble Level control features a cut of 10dB at high frequencies after the preamp stage; 
- the Hush Threshold just the level a witch extension take place and the sensivity of the dynamic filter;
