The Multivox MX-450 bass pedal synthesizer came onto the market around 1980. 

The pedal has 13 buttons. The MX-450 also has footswitches for sub oscillator, 2nd octave, VCF sweep, percussion, slow attack, sustain and VCA hold as well as rotary knobs for VCO with main and sub oscillator, VCO with frequency and resonance, envelope generator with sustain and VCA with volume.
