The Jen Brio 49-P was probably launched at the same time as the Brio 61-P in 1972. They were Jen's first synthesisers.

The available tone colours are: Tibia 16', Tibia 8', Tibia 4', Trombone 16', Trumpet 8', Oboe 8', String 8', Piano Preset. The 6 preset rhythms Waltz, Slow Rock, March, Rock, Latin, Country Swing can be modified with rhythm volume and tempo. Also available are 7th and minor, automatic accompaniment, automatic bass, chords, vibrato, sustain and a memory.
