Details
The Professional Duo is equipped with two 61-key keyboards, each covering five octaves. The organ has four voices, each divided into eight different stops from 16' to 1 1/3': Flute, Clarinet, Sharps and Lower Manual. The first three voices are played on the upper manual, the fourth sounds on the lower manual. The organization of the upper manual was adopted from the single-manual Farfisa Professional 222, the sound generation is identical to the Farfisa FAST series. The Duo has 12 oscillators with tone divider circuitry using ICs as in the subsequent Farfisa VIP series. The pitches of the synthesizer are shifted by foot switches. Several voices can be combined with each other. All voices have cancel switches and the switchable vibrato effect can be configured individually for each voice. Both a swell pedal and a slalom pedal with pitch shifter effect are built into the foot pedal unit. The bass pedal switches are Bass 16', Bourdon 16, Bass 8', Sustain, Volume f/p, Slalom. The Duo could also be fitted with the optional PAS 55 amplifier and speaker unit. (Main source: Wikipedia)
