The Elka Orla Midi Bass Pedl, which was also sold as the Elka EM-13 bass pedal, probably came on the market in 1985, a B-edition with an additional reset button in 1987. It is a pure MIDI controller without sound generation. The midi channel is adjustable 1-7. The 13 foot pedals cover an octave (c-c). The instrument can be played in mono or poly mode and has neither velocity nor aftertouch.
