The instrument was built in the 1980s in collaboration between Cavagnolo (accordion) and Hohner (mechanics). The leading engineer was Christian Deforeit at Hohner France.
Cavagnolo was founded in 1904 in Vercelli / Italy. In 1924, the company settled in Villeurbanne near Lyon.

The organ for accordionists has two button keyboards and a bass section. The numerous presets are: Presets 1 + 2, Bass Presets, Organ Presets, Strings, Percussion, Accompagnement, Rhythm and Synthesized. These have controls for volume, vibrato, etc.
