The instrument

The PSR-60 Portatone Arranger Keyboard was launched in 1985. It was one of well over 100 models in the Arranger PSR series, which began in 1984 with this model and the PSR-70, among others, and included models for beginners and professional musicians alike. It followed on from the PSS Portasound series.

Details

The PSR-60 Arranger is equipped with a manual of 49 keys and presets for 32 sounds, 16 rhythms, sustain and stereo effect. The Keyboard Percussion button can be used to activate 21 PCM percussion sounds. An automatic bass chord function enables automatic accompaniment in different variations. Played chords can be stored in the memory and played back at any tempo. It has built-in 5-watt stereo speakers.
