The Welson Comet Organ is estimated to have come onto the market in the mid-1970s due to its features. 

Details

The Welson Comet is equipped with two manuals of 37 keys each, a bass pedal of 13 keys and a volume pedal. The functions are as follows:
Upper manual with tone colours for solo with Flute 16', 8', 4', 2', Bass Clarinet 16', Trombone 16', Trumpet 8', Strings 4'; presets for Piano, Harpsichord, Vibraphone, Solo Attack;
Vibrato slow/fast and delay
Lower manual with tone colours for Flute 8', 4', Diapason 8', Sustain;
Pedal with bass pedal 16', 8'. Attack and sustain,
Magic Band with rhythm presets RA, Beduine, 3 x Disco, 2 x Dixie, Waltz, Rhumba, Latin, Samba, Slow Rock, Beat, Swing, Tango, Waltz Jazz; Synth Bass Controls for String Bass and Bass Synth.
