VEB Vermona ET 3 Analog Organ
The instrument
The ET 3 single-manual transistor organ was built as a replacement for the TO 5 from the Weltmeister series (1969). It has a keyboard with 49 keys (C-c) and is polyphonic over 6 octaves as well as 3-course 16', 8' and 3'. It was probably designed as a student model. Two years earlier, the larger, 6-choir models ET 6-1 and ET 6-2 were launched on the market.
Details
The ET 3 has 4 tone colors for formant and another 3 for flute (sine). It also has vibrato with 2 controls for amplitude, frequency and brilliance.
The newly developed U 112 D frequency divider circuit was installed. The IC has 7 flip-flop stages in a 14-pole housing, with which the new TG6/4 and TG8/4 tone generators were built. The generator was housed on 3 circuit boards, and 24 transistors were required in addition to 9 or 12 U 112s.
