The instrument

The Leslie Speaker 21 H in a wooden cabinet with dimensions of 104 H x 74 W x 52 D (cm) and a weight of 70 kg came on the market in 1951.The "H" stands for Hammond. With this model and the 50C, the standard dimensions were established. The 22H was a further development.
Many musicians demanded more power than the 20W offered. Therefore, the model 31H with a 30 Watt amplifier was reduced to the standard dimensions. From 1953, 30W was also offered as an option for the 21H series.
