LEM are a French manufacturer, who produced high-quality microphones between the 1940s and 1960s. The model 305 which has been sold since around 1950, was designed to be a utility microphone for orchestral re-transmission, theaters, speeches, etc.

The microphone use large, 6 mm wide ribbon which sit between two steel pole-pieces.
