Klemt Echolette S40 Showstar Tube Amplifier
The instrument
The S40 Showstar amplifier was presented at the Frankfurt Music Fair in 1962. It was the first music amplifier with 40 watts and was specially designed for guitars. A vibrator can be switched on. The two inputs have a separate 2-band tone control and a presence control is also available. Later variants of the S40 are the S40L, S40N G40 and G40H.
