C.E.I. Bauer Carnaval Dynamic Electronic Piano
The instrument
The Piano Carnaval by C.E.I. was probably launched on the market in 1968. C.E.I. (Costruzioni Elletroniche Industrali), a little-known company founded in Bologna in the 1950s, mainly produced organs. It is said to have worked with the distribution company Casale Bauer, Noble, Portofino, Vivant, Farfisa and Vox, among others. The Fender Starmaster organ from 1968 is attributed to C.E.I as well as Bauer and Portofino.
