The D4T is a general purpose dynamic microphone that is designed for a broad range of response, 60hz to 7500hz and a high output level of -56db. The D4T body is small and rugged and can be mounted on a small stand or on a floor stand. Since the D4T has the swivel at the base, the angle could be adjusted easily for any type of stand.
