Dynacord Exquisit Amplifier Mixer
The instrument
The Dynacord Exquisit mixing amplifier was the prototype for the Eminent amplifier series, powerful devices in flat cassettes. The portable, but still 12.3 kg heavy amplifier was designed for stage use and required separate loudspeakers. Four outputs were provided for speakers with 16 ohms, 8 ohms, 4 ohms and 100 V. Two microphones, two instruments, one tape recorder and one echo unit can be connected via six inputs. The instrument inputs have a switchable filter.
Details
The Exquisit mixing amplifier is based on technology with tubes and semiconductors. The tubes are 4 x ECC 83, 2 x EL 34, EM 84 and GZ 34, the semiconductors are E 80 C 20 and OA 161 and the output power is 35 - 45 watts. The technical arrangement consists of 4 preamplifiers, a level amplifier, a phase inverter stage and a push-pull output stage. The frequency range is 30 Hz to 15 kHz +/- 1 dB.
