The Elgam Montreal Piano appeared on the market in the early 1970s. The Elgam company was active from 1968-1982 and produced portable organs and pianos in the early years. This market was already crowded with Italian competitors. The Montreal is comparable with the Rhapsody 490 and 610 from Elka (1972), the Brio 49-P and 61-P from Jen (1972) and at best with the Logan Hohner Melody String Piano from 1973.

Das elektronische Piano Montreal ist ein tragbares Keyboard mit 61 Tasten und den drei Klangfarben Piano, Harpsichord und Spinet, die mit Reglern gemischt werden können. Eine Variante ist der kleinere Snoopy mit 43 Tasten.
