The instrument

The T-3 Bass and Strings Organ is a modernised version of the T-2 with a new design of the functions on the surface and an additional Never Center 50 for drums and Auto Accompagnent. It has the three sections organ, piano, and strings and is equipped with built-in phaser, reverb and built-in Leslie simulator. The two keyboards with 49 voices each comprise 4 octaves. The T-3 can be complemented with a 13-note key/pedalboard.

Details

The organs are split in 2 parts: the upper keyboard has 8 presets, ranked from the softest to the brightest. Endowed with auto sustain and a percussion set which decay and volume can be controlled; the lower keyboard has 4 timbre controls (8', 5 1/3', 4', 2' 1/3), like a simplified Hammond. Both these organs can be routed to a slow-fast rotor effect simulation. Three nuances of electric pianos can be superposed and affected to either or both keyboards. The smaller String machine section has an octave control and a possibility to affect it to both keyboards.
