Studer Revox 40 Stereo Tube Amplifier

The Revox 40 stereo amplifier, which came onto the market in 1960, was primarily designed for tape recorders. It has an average output power of 2 x 10 watts.

The Revox 40 has inputs for pickups, tape and radio, 7-stage tone controls, a balance control and outputs for tape and loudspeakers. The frequency response is 39 Hz - 20,000 Hz. The tube configuration is: ECC 83, 3 x ECC 81, 4 x ECL 86.
