The analogue MP-600 with 64 keys came onto the market in 1978 as a smaller version of the MP-700 with 75 keys from 1977. It is a simple piano with three tones and a 6-band equaliser to vary the sounds.
The MP-600 offers the three tone colours mellow piano, bright piano and clavichord. The keyboard is fully polyphonic. The graphic equaliser with six levels can modify the sound by +- 12dB for each band from 100Hz to 5KH. The function gives a variation to the sound determined by the tone selectors. There is also a decay slider and connections for output, pedal/attenuator and headphones. (Roland manual)
