The instrument
The ORT 100 is estimated to have come onto the market around 1970. It is a type PM 300/37/130 with a power of 100 watts and an impedance of 8 ohms. He is in generally built after the same principle like a Leslie bass baffle and treble horn. One difference is concerning the bass speaker, which is a 12" and sounds upward into a styrofoam drum. The tweeter goes up to 20,000 Hz.
Details
The bass drum and the horn rotate in opposite directions, the transistor amplifier of 100W has four separately adjustable inputs. The speaker has spring reverb and 9pin organ input.
