The Organa 249 K was probably launched in 1962 as a case version of the Organa 249. It has a keyboard of 49 keys for 4 octaves. 2 stops are switchable by drawbar, the volume by rotary knob. Built-in loudspeakers for stereo. Height 23 cm, length 81 cm, depth 41 cm. Weight 23 kg.
Details
With an electric motor, air is sucked out of the wind chamber, in which 2 reeds are installed separately for each tone. Negative pressure is created. When the key is pressed, a tone valve opens and air flows in, causing the reeds to vibrate. The whole casing in narrow comb construction acts as a resonance box. The sound outlet is above the keyboard area.
