The instrument
The simple, monophonic and purely electronic bass synthesizer Basset has been distributed since 1963. It is the first pure solid-state bass synthesiser. It has a keyboard with 24 keys for two octaves, 2 presets with the timbres bass and tuba and buttons for volume and attack envelope. The sound is reproduced via an external amplifier with at least 25 watts of power.
