LEM Univox Baby 6 Channel Analog Tape Echo Mixer

The instrument

The company GEM (Galanti Egidio Mondaino), which had been producing electric organs since 1959, founded the subsidiary LEM (Laboratorio Elettroacustico Musicale) in 1969 to develop sound devices. It competed with other labels with echo devices, among other things. The two-track LEM Echo Music appeared in 1969. The highly developed Baby 6 Channel Tape Echo model probably came onto the market around 1973.
