Yamaha CP 11 Analog Stage Piano

The instrument

The simply equipped CP 11 analogue piano with 61 keys and 10 voices appeared on the market in 1979. It was part of Yamaha's CP series, which had been produced since 1974 with analogue, electro-mechanical and later digital pianos. 

Details

The bass and treble equaliser controls permit boost or cut of the low and high frequency ranges. There can be used to tailor the basic sound provided by the tone select switches for the best overall tonal effect. There are four basic selections: piano 1 and 2, harpsichord 1 and 2. Tremolo and sustain (sustain switch and EG mode) are also available. In the rhythm section there are eight built-in patterns for march, waltz, tango, rhumba, disco, rock, swing and samba.
