Details
The JV-1010 offers 1 MFX alongside chorus and reverb as effects and largely dispenses with controls. An editor programme is required for editing. A sound programme (patch) consists of up to 4 tones, two of which can be combined using one of 10 structures. A tone consists of a PCM oscillator, 12dB multi-mode filter, dynamic amplifier, 3 envelopes and 2 LFOs, whereby a booster and ring modulator can be added by selecting the structure and a quality of 24dB can be achieved with the same setting of two filters. The fact that tones can be limited in the velocity and note range means that split, layer and crossover sounds are possible within a patch. In addition to the ROM samples of the JV-1080, those of the session board are also included here. The combination of up to 15 parts (with patches) and a rhythm set is controlled by a performance, whereby the MIDI channels can be freely selected for each individual part. (Source: Rolandmuseum)
