Dynacord Echocord Mini Tape Echo
The instrument
The first version of the Echocord Mini Echo appeared in 1965 and was presented in a new design with a plastic housing as early as 1966 (smem example). It was technically improved with the installation of low-noise Si transistors. The later unchanged model was produced in black from 1975 and sold until 1979.
Details
The Echocord Mini is designed for operating voltages of 110, 130, 220 and 230 V at approx. 50-60 Hz. The transistors are 9 x BC 109 C, 3 x BC 178 B, BC 107 B, the diodes and rectifiers are B 30 / C 150 Si, 2 x AA 112. 2 x ECO 5220. The technical equipment consists of an input amplifier, a talkback amplifier, a playback equaliser, an output amplifier and an RF cancellation generator. The frequency of the echo is 50 - 10,000 Hz. The device has two inputs for instrument and microphone. The reverberation time is a maximum of 5 seconds, the tape loop is 510 mm long. (Source: Hans Ohms)
